It was late October and we were back in one of our favorite campsites in Yosemite
The weather was chilly and the campground relatively uncrowded

The trees showed their Fall colors - not as spectacular as in the East but still beautiful
Early rain and cold evenings produced ice flows around the waterfalls

The valley was, as always, gorgeous

This year on the way to Yosemite we camped at the COE campground at Eastman Lake
Unfortunately, the lake is almost gone because of the drought, which is in its 3rd year
