We are off to the east coast to visit family and friends

This trip took us through Nevada and Utah.
On the right is a view down the valley to the Green River

We visited a park on the Green River enjoying the scenery and solitude

During the trip we experienced a broad range of weather. Here in Breckenridge, Colorado
it was warm when we arrived. Overnight, however, the temperature fell well below
freezing and we awoke to ice on the car and a frozen water supply hose

At Westminster College, Missouri we visited the Churchill museum, a Christopher
Wren Church, and a remnant of the Berlin wall with old friends, Jack and Win Colwill

In eastern Pennsylvania we toured covered bridges

A highlight of the trip was at the U. of Vermont where our
friend, Jackie Gribbons, received an honorary doctorate

In New York State we visited with Cathy and Tim.
Val was delighted to have a play companion

In Boston we stayed with Rob (birthday boy), Lizzy and the kids.
Again, Val loved his companions

The RV parks varied from a waterfront site along the Mohawk River
to this well-appointed park in Indiana

On our return we experienced a broad range of bad weather.
In Wyoming the winds exceeded 50MPH. As we reached Rawlins it
was sunny, windy, and warm, but the clouds were beginning to gather.

The next morning we could not see out the windows.
More than 2 inches of snow, ice and high winds delayed our departure until noon
