We began the trip in Morro Bay
The bay is dominated by Morro Rock an almost 600 foot volcanic plug located just offshore
This time of year the low clouds and overcast often lasts all day

Morro Bay has its Rock, Pismo Beach has its famous pier

The beach and boardwalks are very pleasant even with the constant overcast

All beaches were almost empty, probably due to the gloomy weather. However, the RV parks were full!
