From April 13 to May 7 we traveled through Arizona,
New Mexico, Texas
and Nevada experiencing hot and cold, wet and dry, snow and sun
and some very high winds
In Lake Havasu city, AZ we visited the London Bridge
Lynne and Drift view RVs and the Colorado River at
the Buckskin State Park (AZ) campground
On our way from Phoenix to NM we stayed at Roper Lake
State Park, AZ
Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, NM
The crowds were light so we had time to inspect
Lynne descending into the natural entrance of Carlsbad
Caverns
We walked both the Natural Entrance and Big Room trails.
Very few people made it a great experience

Typical tourists in the central square of Taos, NM
Don't miss the Enchanted Circle Drive around Mt. Wheeler (outside
of Taos)
On the way out of Taos we stopped at the Rio Grande River Gorge
Some of the spectacular rock formations on our drive through northern
NM
Crossing the northern NM mountains, we went to 10,600 feet and
found wintry scenery
A collection of petrified objects in Holbrook, NM
Outside Sedona, AZ we visited Jerome, an old copper mining town.
The initiated will understand the significance of Ed's shirt and
this equipment.
On the way to Las Vegas we stopped at Hoover Dam. Here is a picture
out the back window during lunch.
We enjoyed camping in the desert and have learned to enjoy its
beauty
Drift proved to be a wonderful traveling companion and a true
gentleman
Lynne discovered an excellent way of getting Drift's hair out
of carpet and rugs
