MACKERRICHER
STATE PARK

Begining May 21st we spent a few days at Mackerricher
( This is one of the very best California Parks )

The park is located above Ft Bragg on the California coast
We "dry camped", i.e. VFR supplied all its own water, power, etc.

The park has a beautiful Pacific Ocean shore line.

The park also has a lovely lake - Lake Cleone.
This romantic lake is surrounded by a 2 mile trail with a boardwalk.
The guide book says: " If you can't get a kiss here, you can't get one anywhere ! "

Activities also included seal watching and bicycling the many miles of beach road.

This park, 5 hrs from home, has become one of our favorite camping sites.
