Our 57 RV parks ranged from poor (New Jersey) to very good (Georgia)

During the trip we went from below sea level (Louisianna) to high mountains (Idaho and Wyoming)

We went from the windy Gulf of Mexico to a windy Cape Hattaras

And from the northeastern shore of the Atlantic (Kennebunkport) to the beauty of Niagara Falls

We saw several of the major rivers in the U.S., including the Mississippi and the Columbia

The desert has beauties such as Saguaro National Park and oddities like
this incongrous 30 foot roadrunner statue at a rest stop in New Mexico

Flowers varied from the bluebonnets and other wildflowers in the hill country
of Texas to the exotic plants in the conservatory at the Biltmore estate

The gardens of the Biltmore gardens were outstanting
Among the interesting buildings was this low country home in Biloxi
as well as the very unusual homes in Rodanthe on Cape Hattaras
Peacham, Vermont as well as Barnet have some beautiful historic buildings

Yreka, California has very picturesque restored Victorian homes

On the left is perhaps the most colorful building we photographed, the jail in Interior,
South Dakota. In contrast, the majestic cathedral of Notre Dame in Montreal is on the right.

Often the rural vistas were most memorable
On the left a Vermont farm scene, on the right a western ranching area

Landmark examples: Hattaras Lighthouse and the Mitchell SD Corn Palace

We spent two days in Badlands National Park, where every vista is more spectacular than the last

We went from the Badlands to Yellowstone National Park, where the earth literally steams!

Yellowstone now has herds of Bison (which are obviously not afraid of people)
Firehole Falls is a bit off the beaten path but lovely

Fountain Paintpots and Cone Geyser are two of the many geysers and hot springs

Our fuel filter sprang a leak and we had to leave the coach (on a Sunday) on the
side of a 4 lane road with a note saying the coach would be fixed on Monday
And yes, the police did call.

We purchased a new fuel filter at a very unusual truck parts place
Later in the trip Ed had to repair the facing on one of the slide-outs
