Death Valley ( February, 2008 )

This is our 9th visit to Death Valley.

We returned again to our favorite Furnace Creek camping site.

 
We were 'camping' with two dogs - Val and Brie.
The last time we had two dogs was in 2005 with Val and Yuki.

 
Brie quickly got into the touring spirit.
But was not happy to be left alone.

It had rained heavily (for Death Valley) the week before producing a carpet of yellow.

 
The weather was very pleasant; the yearly walk to the Borax Works did not overheat any of us.
