July 3rd, 2005. We picked up Fogerty at Guide Dogs For The Blind in San Rafael, CA.
He looks a bit doubtful about his first collar. Only during the drive home are we allowed to
hold a puppy in our laps while in an automobile.

A potty break on the way home followed by lunch on arrival.

Here he is in his own spot in the kitchen. Puppy handling is an
important part of the bonding with your puppy and lots of fun, too.

Fogerty meets Pella, a puppy 2 months older than he.

Three dogs - Pella, our Val, and Fogerty with two raisers, Bonnie and Lynne.
Val and Fogerty are half brothers, although they don't look much alike.
Happily, they both have the same sweet calm temperaments.
